Derbac-M 0.5% liquid contains malathion, an insecticide used to treat head lice, pubic lice and scabies in adults and children aged 6 months and over. Applied to dry hair or skin and left on for 8 to 12 hours before washing off, treatment should be repeated after seven days. As it contains no alcohol, it is suitable for people with asthma or eczema. All affected members of the household should be treated at the same time to prevent reinfection.
